Let's get you on the road.

Apex School of Driving provides automatic driving lessons across Blackburn, Darwen, Rishton, Great Harwood, Accrington and surrounding areas. We can pick you up from your home, school, college, sixth form or workplace, but as Blackburn is the local driving test centre, the majority of your practical training will take place around Blackburn with Darwen and the types of roads and driving situations commonly practised during driving test preparation.

This allows you to become familiar with a wide variety of driving situations, including residential streets, busy town-centre roads, complex junctions, multi-lane roundabouts, bus lanes, hill starts, country roads, bends and rural junctions, as well as faster roads where appropriate. As your confidence and ability develop, we will gradually introduce more challenging situations and practise test-style routes, manoeuvres, independent driving and mock tests, helping ensure that by the time you take your test, the roads and types of situations you encounter feel familiar rather than new.

Our aim is not simply to teach you to pass your test, but to develop the skills, confidence and awareness you need to become a safe and independent driver for life.
